Crafted in pure Tussar silk, this saree showcases the signature raw, earthy texture and natural luminosity that only genuine Tussar can offer.
Color :The body blooms in a rich mustard gold — warm, sun-kissed, and deeply rooted in Odishan craft tradition. Scattered across the field are delicate small woven butis in contrasting dark thread, adding quiet elegance without overwhelming the natural silk sheen.
Border: A bold Coffee border runs along both sides, framed by a narrow magenta stripe that creates a striking color bridge between the golden body and the dark border. The border features the iconic temple/konark-inspired triangular spire (Shikhar) motifs woven in black-on-mustard ; a hallmark of authentic Odisha weaving.
Pallu Design: The pallu is a showstopper ; woven in deep black with multiple horizontal bands of intricate tribal and folk motifs, including:
Dancing human figures holding hands ' symbolizing community, joy, and tribal folk tradition
Sacred tree / Kalpa Vriksha motifs , representing life, nature, and abundance
Geometric floral medallions — precision-woven in ivory/cream thread
Alternating bands separated by fine magenta accent stripes
The overall pallu composition tells a visual story drawn from Odisha's tribal heritage folk art.
Each saree is handwoven by master weavers — a timeless piece from the looms of Odisha, brought to you by Kuvinda.
