A devotional masterpiece woven in silence and fire!
This exquisite fourply mulberry silk saree is a study in contrasts , warm luminosity of mustard gold meeting deep, grounding black , unified by the ancient artistry of Odisha ikat.
The Body
The entire body is adorned with an intricate double ikat pattern , swirling, interlocking motifs that shift between amber gold and ivory white across the silk ground. Each repeat carries the characteristic soft-edged bleed of true resist-dyed ikat, proof of the painstaking thread-by-thread tying that precedes every weave. The result is a luminous, almost mercurial surface alive with movement even in stillness.
The Anchal
The pallu transitions into a dramatic black field, where rows of fully woven Padma (lotus) motifs bloom in deep crimson and terracotta, edged in golden detail. The lotus sacred symbol of purity, devotion, and Lakshmi's grace repeats in measured rows across fine white pinstripes, creating a border that feels both regal and deeply spiritual. A narrow mustard gold accent line marks the transition, anchoring body to anchal with precision.
